My Story
A mirror where women can see parts of themselves they were taught to hide.
An energetic threshold where softness and power meet. A mirror for what was once silenced, now awakening. Created through ritual and Reiki, this portal holds the frequency of reclamation, embodiment, balance, and return.
I’m Rebecca, an intuitive watercolor artist and Reiki practitioner based in Edmonton, Alberta. I created Mirror Moon Studio as an offering for the awakening soul, especially for women reclaiming themselves after years of shrinking, performing, or carrying shame in their bodies.
My art was born from my own unraveling.
For much of my life, I was taught, directly and indirectly, that softness was weakness, sensuality was dangerous, and beauty was something to earn through self-denial. I learned to make myself smaller. More agreeable. More useful. Less visible. Like so many women, I absorbed the belief that my body was a problem to solve rather than a sacred place to live.
That way of living came at a cost.
Mirror Moon Studio began as part of my healing, but it quickly became something more. Through watercolor, symbolism, and Reiki, I started creating pieces that felt less like paintings and more like thresholds. Portals. Invitations. Mirrors. Each one became a way of reclaiming what shame tried to bury: softness, power, grief, desire, intuition, beauty, and truth.
My yoni portals and intuitive works are not created to provoke. They are created to remember. To help women reconnect with what is holy in themselves. To honor the body not as an object of judgment, but as an oracle. A vessel. A living archive. A source of wisdom.
At the heart of my work is this belief:
Sensuality is sacred.
Beauty is not a debt.
Power does not require hardness.
And the parts of you that were shamed may be the very parts trying to lead you home.
Every piece I create is infused with intention and Reiki energy. Some are soft and luminous. Some are fierce and revealing. All of them are made to hold space for transformation, reflection, and self-return.
Mirror Moon Studio is for the woman who is waking up.
The woman reclaiming her body from shame.
The woman unlearning purity culture.
The woman learning to trust her own voice, desire, and inner knowing.
The woman remembering that she was never too much, only taught to live as less.
